Trip Overview

Volunteer Everest trekking in Nepal is a combined form of trekking with a social contribution.Many communities in the countryside are struggling to overcome the effects of the 2015 earthquake, especially rebuilding homes, health centers and schools.During your volunteer time in Nepal you will have direct opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the Nepali people, along with the trekking you will have a wonderful holiday in Nepal.

Peaceful Step Himalaya Trekking Company will arrange the base and accommodation for your volunteer work and the journey into the Lower Everest region. Your trip begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Pattale Village at 2840m; it is a remote area with beautiful mountain views. You will be able to see Mt Everest 8848.86m, Makalu 8463m, Kanchanjanga 8586m as well as Thamserku, Tabuche, Cholache, Pumari and Khumbila Peak.

Your volunteering will include help with rebuilding houses and schools, teaching students health, agriculture and environmental awareness. You will be involved in health education for women and generally will interact with the villagers and help bring a smile to their face which has been difficult since the earthquake. Students really find it worthwhile and enjoy their exclusive moments to interact with you and learn from you. The duration of your volunteering depends on your interest and enjoyment of the programs. Following your volunteer work you will then trek to Pikery peak or Everest base camp making your Nepal holiday spectacular. HELP- Himalayan Everest Lower Project are helping the Tuhure Village school with providing books, pens and pencils..

We have already trekked in areas that were previously damaged in the earthquake – Manaslu, Lang tang, and Ganesh Himal region and found them safe and Re-established for trekking.
