Trip Overview

 Everest base camp trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. Mount Everest is the Highest Mountain in the world. In the local language, it is called Sagarmatha and in Tibet, they call it Chomolungma. This trek is popular for the panoramic views of the mountains, gigantic Khumbu River, glaciers and traditional Buddhist monasteries. Everest expedition starts from Base camp and all mountain climbers from around the world gather here to acclimatize. During the Everest base camp trek, you walk through Rhododendron forest and might see Himalayan Thar, Musk deer, pheasant and other wild animals.This trek starts from Lukla.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at international airport Kathmandu and then transfer to hotel Overnight stay in Hotel (B)

Day 2 – After breakfast sightseeing old heritage site in Kathmandu valley Overnight stay in hotel.(B/B)

Day 3 – An early morning Flight to lukla(2840m) from Kathmandu around 30 minutes. Trek to Phakding (2610m) Walking 4.5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)  7 Km

Day 4 – Trek to Namche bazaar (3440m) walking 6 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D) 12km

Day 5 – Acclimatization, trek to Everest Hotel & explore Sherpa village at Namche bazaar walking 4/5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)   6km

Day 6 – Trek to Tengboche (3680m) walking 6 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D) 11km

Day 7 – Trek to Dingboche(4410m) Walking 6 hours  Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D) 12km

Day 8-  Acclimatization, Hike to  Nangkartshang hill  walking 4.5 hours  Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D) 9km

Day 9 – Trek to Labuche(4910m) walking 6 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)   8km

Day 10– Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) via  Gorak shep(5140m)  walking 9 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D) 12km

Day 11 –  Early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5545m) from Gorak Shep and continue trek back to Pheriche(4420m) or  Pangboche  (3930m) walking 8,9 hours  Overnight  stay in Lodge. ( B/L/D) (2.5km+ 12.5km= 14.5km)

Day 12 -Trek back to  Namche  bazaar(3440m) walking 8 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D) 20km

Day 13 – Trek back to Lukla(2840m) walking 8/9   hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)  19km

Day 14-  An early morning Flight back to Kathmandu from lukla around 30 minute Overnight stay in Hotel. (B/B)

Day 15 – After breakfast, our guide will drop to you at international airport for departure from Nepal.
