Trip Overview

Imja tse, known as island peak, is a mountain in Sagarmatha national park of the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. The peak was named island peak in 1953 by Eric Shipton’s party since it appears as an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche.
Island peak summit climb, lesser known as the Imja Tse climb with Everest base camp trekking is a fantastic experienced in the Himalaya of Nepal. It is designed for energetic & physically fit trekkers with little or no experience in mountain expedition. Island peak (6189m/20305ft.) is one of the main climbing peaks in the Everest region of Nepal with an impressive and highly glaciated west face that rise from the Lhotse glacier. It is being on the trekking peaks with very little technical aspects, island peak climb’s difficulty level is mediocre for a beginner climber wishing to enter the incredible world of mountain climbing.  Our adventure journey takes us into the heartland of the khumbu valley and Sherpa culture. Before scaling the peak, we also visit possible the most popular trekking destination, Everest base camp trek (5364m) & KalaPatther (5545m)  close views of  Mount Everest (8848.86m) It is highest peak in the world and other high mountains.
After sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, Island peak climbing starts with scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu takes about 30 /40 minutes. We walk through the Dudhkoshi river valley.  We will then trek via Manju ( Sagarmatha  National Park office) and reach the get way of Everest, Namche Bazaar (3440m). We will hikeHotel Everest View   It is located within Sagarmath (Everest) National park and offers a mesmerizing view of Mt. Everest (8848.86m) and surrounding Himalayas.  With a view of Mount Everest (8848.86m) from every room, visitors can immerses in this mesmerizing scene in luxury. It opened in 1971,   Hotel Everest View has been listed on the Guinness book of the world records (2004) as a highest placed hotel in the world at 13000ft.  And spend for 2 nights in the Sherpa town Namche bazaar and enjoy the local market. Trekking ahead from Namche bazaar will take us to the Everest base camp and then continue to the summit of KalaPatthar (5545m) After Acclimatization at Namche bazaar, the next day our routes stop at Tengboche. Tenhboche offers one of the wonderful views of Everest, Lhoste (8516m), Ama Dablam(6812m) & khangtega (6782m) as well as many other peaks and incent of Tengboche monastery. We begin the arrangement From Chhukung for our island peak climbing. Even though we can ascend the peak in a single day, however from our earlier experience we spend 2 nights at the island peak base camp for adjustment.  Eventually, we attempt the Island peak summit from the base camp, once we reach the summit, we will spend a few minutes for great pictures and then we will trek back to Lukla and then fly back to Kathmandu and end our trip. Detail Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at international airport Kathmandu and then transfer to hotel Overnight stay in Hotel (B)

Day 2 – After breakfast sightseeing old heritage site in Kathmandu valley Overnight stay in hotel.(B/B)

Day 3 – An early morning Flight to lukla(2840m) from Kathmandu around 30 minutes. Trek to Phakding (2610m) Walking 4.5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 4 – Trek to Namche bazaar (3440m) walking 5 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 5 – Acclimatization, trek to Everest Hotel & explore Sherpa village at Namche bazaar walking 4/5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 6 – Trek to Tengboche (3680m) walking 5 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 7 – Trek to Pheriche (4240m) Walking 5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 8 – Trek to Labuche(4910m) walking 5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 9 – Trek to Gorak shep(5140m) and Everest Base Camp (5364m)  walking 7 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 10 –  Early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5545m) from Gorak Shepa and continue trek back to Dingboche (4110m) walking 8 hours  Overnight  stay in Lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 11– Trek to Island Base Camp (5080m) via Chhukung Vallay walking 6 hours Overnight stay in Tent.  (B/L/D)

Day 12–   Acclimatization, Climbing training at base camp and prepare for next days. Overnight stay in Tent (B/L/D)

Day 13 – Early morning climbing Island Peak (6189m) Overnight stay in Tent at Base Camp or  continue  back to Chhukung village (4730m)  Overnight stay in Lodge (B/L/D)

Day 14 – Trek back to Pangboche  (3930m) walking 4.5 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 15 – Trek back to  Khumjung village  (3780m) walking 6  hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 16 -Trek back to Manju (2835m) walking 5 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 17– Trek back to Lukla(2840m) walking 4.5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 18 – An early morning fight back to Kathmandu from lukla around 30 minute Overnight stay in Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 19 – After breakfast, our guide will drop to you at international airport for departure from Nepal.
